Our focus on ‘simplifying’ recruitment led to a website design boasting key features that all in all created an efficient website for Allsopp & Allsopp. A contemporary funnel, easing recruitment for both users, through enhanced UI features and for our client through cloud-based integration.
‘Allsopp & Allsopp Recruitment’ is an agency working towards redefining recruitment. With such a goal in mind they have gone one to operate within 14 different industries; Technology, Finance, Marketing, Real Estate, Construction, Sales and Banking, to name a few. With over 51 years’ combined recruitment experience, they have gone onto registering over 7000 candidates.
Our client required a website that could enhance such an extensive process. A design that not only improved user-interface with contemporary functionality but one that streamlined the funneling of ‘leads’. In turn creating a more efficient data-capture experience for Allsopp & Allsopp.
As with all our website designs we wanted to create a dynamic home-page that presented efficient navigation options. Users entering the website are greeted by a centered search bar allowing for a quick job search. Alongside a “click here to hire great talent” CTA taking those interested in hiring, straight to where they need to be.
Moreover “Employers” & “Candidates” CTA’s and a burger menu organize other landing pages for efficient accessibility. Design decisions coming together to enhance the user experience by offering uncluttered and simplified navigation.
Our usual practice of strategic CTA placement alongside a contact form that appears at the bottom of every page, led to a strong data-capture design which prevents leads from bouncing.
Recruitment is a “people’s industry” and through implementing both bespoke photography and video; showing both staff and offering valuable content; we brought our client’s brand to life.
When it came to features & functionality we began by pulling in Google Reviews, these can be classified as “user-generated content” by search engines. By including reviews, we improved the website’s SEO quality, as reviews are calculated when ranking businesses for local SEO.
Our next step in functionality was introducing a video capture facility. Allowing candidates to record & introduce themselves, offering another means of efficient communication between candidates and agency, which in turn creates more lead-capture opportunities for our client.
Users are able to add LinkedIn profiles directly to their recruitment account, simplifying the application process while simultaneously streamlining selection, as more information is readily available. With users also able to bookmark jobs and create a ‘shortlist; both features coming together to provide a better user experience.
Finally, the integration Zoho; a cloud-based tracking system; provides Allsopp & Allsopp recruitment with a single management platform for all their hiring processes. Once again streamlining the recruitment process into an efficient digital funnel.

User-interface design allows for easy navigation within a complex process, due to landing pages with prominent and strategically placed calls-to-action gracefully directing users onto the next.
Allsopp & Allsopp recruitment website boasts a contemporary user experience that allows users to efficiently manage the jobs they apply for. A dynamic filter system presenting only the most relevant roles to users, LinkedIn profile integration and a user-generated ‘shortlist’ creates a smoother application process that reduces lead loss to competing agencies.
Wanting to ensure the back-end of the business was as strong as the “front of house”, we had the website dynamically pull in Google Reviews while we implemented SEO practices throughout design, webpage and meta-data copy that pushed for better SEO ranking.
