Tidal Marketing is an innovative marketing consultancy founded by Beth Hilson and Charlene Burkmar: two university friends who came together with an ambitious plan for a new company after pursuing separate, high-flying careers in marketing.
Tidal approached Starberry to create a new website design for their consultancy and and also to help to refine their logo and create marketing materials to support their business. Tidal’s mission is to help young and growing businesses achieve their goals through strategic marketing direction, so it was vital that the website should look fresh, innovative and exciting.
Once Tidal’s visual identity had been firmly established, we were able to design the website, keeping it in line with their branding and structuring the site to showcase the range of services they offered.
As Tidal’s website didn’t require any complex structures or functions, the team at Starberry were able to keep things simple but effective. We came up with a straightforward but visually stunning presentation, dispensing with the conventional ‘burger menu’ button and instead keeping key pages and segments accessible from the top navigation. The ‘Our work’ pages use high quality images to support and present in an engaging way the projects Tidal has with existing and past clients.
The result is an awesome new website designed to help Tidal Marketing showcase their work and to generate new leads. The design works for the full range of clients Tidal hope to attract: it has all the cutting edge vibrancy needed to catch the eye of edgy, exciting startups and enough gravitas and authority to draw in older, more established businesses.
